Did you ever wonder what a Swat team really is and when are they called in? Well, now’s your chance to ask a trained Swat officer, with over fifteen years of experience, about his job.
Lieutenant Joe Griffin is a member of the Richfield Police Department with many years of training and experience. His resume contains: SOTA Basic Swat Operator Certification, Submachine Gun Instructor Certification, LAPD Hostage Rescue Training, NTOA Wooded Terrain Operations, and much more.
So, whether you are writing a novel with a hero or heroine who is a police officer or a swat team member or a suspense story in need of realistic details, this is your chance to ask questions and find the answers you need.

Wise, Ink is an online community created to help passionate authors through the hurdles of publishing. The voices behind Wise, Ink are two editors, Dara Beevas and Amy Quale. Dara and Amy both work for an indie publisher in the Twin Cities and are passionate about authors, books, and all things related to publishing.

 Dara is a native of the Washington, D.C. area and has been in the publishing industry more than a decade. She fancies herself a writer too, but enjoys helping other writers with their work more; she is the author of The Indie Author Revolution. Dara loves brainstorming, planning, and strategizing authors’ plans to launch their books successfully into the market. She has a master’s degree in electronic publishing from George Washington University in Washington D.C.
